    Its a great watch. It’s got some heft. At first, I thought it was hard to read because this LCD is the reverse of normal LCDs. The entire screen is black, with the information appearing in gray. I can read it fine, though. In dim light or nighttime, the light function works great and the button is easy to find without needing to see. The best part about the watch is that it looks incredible. In my opinion, it’s the best looking casio atomic solar watch hands down.

    The band is black metal, and it doesnt scratch off. When removing links, I wasnt delicate with the thumb tack. I scratched at the metal many times, and it never scratched at all or lost any of the black. I was expecting the black to flake off, but it hasnt. If I had to guess, I would say the metal itself is black.

    This watch got me saying a few wow during the first days. In the dark I make the wrist move to look at my watch and the backlit come on. It’s always on time due to satellite synch. I got one for my Dad also and now the first thing we say to each other on the phone is the seconds because even if he lives far away we have the EXACT time. The only thing I miss is the backward chrono.. When I put money in the parking meter I like to start a time.. It might be the snooze option. I didn’t read the whole book yet. Otherwise the watch is beautiful with the dark blue on steel black. I prefer metal bracelet and this one is gorgeous. The watch is smart. When the motion detector feels that the watch is not moving, the display shuts down. Also if the battery gets low, it goes on safe mode and stop displaying some info. Time is the last thing to go. A great watch, solid and heavy. Makes you feel like a man. :)
